Heritage Savings
The Heritage Savings is an ideal account for seniors who make 5 or less transactions per month. This account is a great complement to the Heritage Chequing Account as it offers a competitive rate of interest and a low monthly fee (no fee if a balance of $500 is maintained). Do your day-to-day banking with your Heritage Chequing and keep the balance of your liquid savings in your Heritage Maximizer. You'll save money on service charges and earn more interest!
Now you can have up to three Heritage Savings Accounts under one membership. With up to three accounts, you can focus your savings on specific goals.
Your first Heritage Savings Account offers you chequing privileges. Your additional Heritage Savings Accounts offer convenient access to your funds through credit union ATM machines, in-branch withdrawals, TeleService and cuanytime Internet banking.
Interest is calculated on the daily closing balance and paid monthly.
Interest is calculated on the following tiers:
$ 0.00 - $ 4,999.99
$ 5,000.00 - $19,999.99
$20,000.00 - $59,999.99
$60,000.00 and over
Interest rate calculated back to $5,000.00.
